Start with the customer and the work
Choose the customer you are billing, then add the products or services you provided. Review quantities, prices, dates and payment details in the invoice editor. Saved customer and product records help with repeat work, while the draft gives you a place to make changes before issuing the invoice.
Keep drafts and issued invoices distinct
A draft is work in progress. Review the recipient and every invoice line before taking the next step. Midas keeps draft, unpaid, overdue and paid records in the invoice list, with filters that help you find the records you need. A task being completed in Hercules does not issue or send an invoice.
Keep the invoice and its history together
Download invoice PDFs and check payment status from the same workspace. The invoice list helps you see what needs attention and look back at earlier customer work. Payment status is a record to review; it does not mean that Midas collects a payment from your customer automatically.
Use Midas on its own, or connect Hercules
Manual invoicing works independently of Hercules. If your team also records billable work in Hercules, connect the accounts and choose the work to include in a customer invoice. You keep control of the selection and the invoice review. A Nexus infrastructure account is not needed to use Midas.
